In Mourning

In Mourning is a series of embroidered drawings of animal species and locations that have been severely impacted by climate change. The technique is a reference to Victorian mourning craftwork, as well as a nod to work traditionally done by women (embroidery), as well as a time-based process of meditation on the subject of global warming and its environmental impacts.
